An expert in a range of financial services, Managing Partner Ed Matthews brings more than twenty years of extensive professional experience to Titan, which includes commercial and construction lending and credit administration.

Prior to joining Titan, Mr. Matthews served as executive VP and chief financial officer of The South Financial Group, a $10 billion multi-bank holding company headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina, and parent company to Carolina First Bank, South Carolina's largest independent commercial bank. He has also held the position of CFO with Trans Financial, Inc., a Bowling Green, Kentucky-based $2.5 billion multi-bank holding company. In these positions, Mr. Matthews oversaw due diligence on numerous acquisitions and was responsible for portfolio asset management, tax planning, SEC filings and regulatory compliance.
